So. It turned out WebComicsPot needed some more work. The basic idea seems to work well, but needs more polish. The largest change is this forum: we know some of you had problems using WCP. Some of those problems point to changes we need to make on this site, some of them are solvable with a hint or two, but in any case -- we want to know about them so that we can make webcomics publishing simpler and better. The thing we got the most grief so far was the login and account creation part, so we improved it. A lot. OpenID is great in theory but turns out to be more difficult in practice. We still accept only OpenID logins (which is a good thing, really), but we made it simpler and easier. There were also some smaller changes, tweaks and fixes here and there. They might be hardly noticeable, but make the site more fun to use. To wrap it up -- thanks a lot for trying out WebComicsPot. Keep letting us know what you think and what you need :) Edited by marcink on March 3, 2008 at 13:11

Hi Marcink! I recently joined WebcomicsPot but I am unsure about how to use everything. I still don't have the hang on how to use the feed option. Is there a help sections somewhere? |

Hi Tammy, welcome on WCP! You are a lucky ;-) This week we start to work with WCP after very long break, so there is no need for you to have as much patience as our very first user Saari :D (Thaaanks Saari that you're still with us!) Help section will be available soon but many of common difficulties will be fixed so we want to write it after this. About the feed option - it's simple: Put feed address like: http://klosart.com/feed/en/ into the box and on your comics it will look like this: http://desertstory.webcomicspot.com If you have any other questions - ask. But remember that in one week there will be probably next version of WCP :-) |
